Abu Dhabi: A 15-year-old Indian resident of Dubai has won an all-expenses-paid trip to NASA in the United States.

Nuzhat Mahdiyat, a 10th grader from Westminster School, Dubai (TWS) says he is excited and looking forward to going to NASA.

“My younger self would find it amazing if I went to NASA at just 15 years old. Prophet Muhammad is a great inspiration and role model to me. He inspires me to be a strong student leader. I am extremely grateful to my parents who never doubted me and always encouraged me,” Nuzhat told Gulf News.

Nuzhat Mahdiyat, said her trip to NASA was entirely due to a two-week global fellowship program by Lifology.

In February 2022, Nuzhat participated in the free “Lifology Global Fellowship Program – The Future 10,000”, a scholarship program for school children.

She was among the first 40,000 students from around the world who applied to take part in the program, which involved mentorship from experts including Indian author Chetan Bhagat, senior NASA scientist and astronomer Jennifer Wiseman, and Professor of University of Manchester and former WHO adviser, Dr Mukesh.
