College students visit local manufacturers | Company


MARYVILLE, Mo. – More than 200 middle school students from across Nodaway County toured various facilities in Maryville and Hopkins as part of National Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 7.

National Manufacturing Day is an initiative organized by the Manufacturing Institute to showcase and promote modern manufacturing careers to young students across the country, according to the institute’s website. This year, companies such as Kawasaki, Laclede Chain and Mosaic have been involved in hosting students at their facilities for tours.
