2022 Travelers Championship generates over $2.5 million for charity


HARTFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) today announced that the 2022 Travelers Championship has raised more than $2.5 million for more than 130 charities. Since Travelers became the Presenting Sponsor in 2007, the event has raised more than $25 million for more than 800 local nonprofits.

The tournament donates 100% of its net profits to non-profit organizations, and this year’s main beneficiary is The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut, which provides a traditional summer camp experience for children with serious illnesses.
